Ep 68: How Personal Development Has Impacted My Horsemanship

Be-Your-Best_Ep68.jpg

I feel like I have grown more in the past 5 years than I have in the rest of my years combined. And this is because over the past 5 years, I have made a commitment to focusing on personal development.

It is easy to look back on my life and think about the times when I should have taken more time to focus on self improvement. But, I know that looking back doesn’t change anything. The only thing that matters is how I use the time that I have been given today.

I have come to many realizations as a result of my personal growth journey, and many of these experiences have shaped my perspective on horsemanship and training. While there are many small stories packed into this episode, they all relate back to one central idea:

We are the catalysts of our own change.

If we want our lives to improve, we must first improve. If we want our businesses to get better, we must first focus on making ourselves better. If we want our horses to get better, we must first focus on becoming better trainers. At the end of the day, we are responsible for our own outcomes.
