2025 Mentorship Application
Application Requirements: Applicants must complete an online application process, which includes a review of prior horsemanship knowledge, skills, and participation in past Phil Haugen Horsemanship events. Applicants must be in good standing and will be required to provide at least three references who can verify good character, work ethic, and responsibility. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with a current driver’s license and health insurance.
Application Process: Upon submission of an online application and application fee, applicants will be contacted within seven (7) days to confirm acceptance into the program. Upon acceptance, participants will receive more detailed information about the Mentorship session(s) they have been accepted into, as well as a link to pay the remainder of their Mentorship Fee.
Application Fee: A $1,500 application fee will be due with your online application. Upon acceptance, this fee will be applied to the total cost of your upcoming Mentorship session. If an applicant is rejected from the program, the $1,500 application fee will be refunded (less processing fees). Application Fees are non-transferable, meaning participants cannot transfer their application to another participant or another Mentorship session once accepted.
Program Fees: The Foundations Mentorship program fee is $3,250 and the Colt Starting Mentorship fee is $3,750, which includes all meals and lodging at the Haugen Training Facility in Weatherford, Oklahoma.
Payment Terms & Conditions: Mentorship Fees will be due in full 60 days prior to the start of the Mentorship session you have been accepted into. All Mentorship Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Returning Participants: If you are a returning Mentorship participant, your application will be automatically accepted.
