Ep 252: Answering Your FAQs About Clinics & Online Training Programs

As we gear up for the fall, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about our upcoming schedule, where we’ll be heading next, and how to get involved with our training programs. For those of you who are looking to attend an in-person clinic or mentorship week, you can check out our upcoming schedule of events here: 2024 Clinic Schedule

Every week, I get questions about where to start if you want to move forward with your horsemanship. We’ve got plenty of resources, not just from us, but from other great providers out there. If you’re looking for something affordable and accessible, our monthly mentorship sessions inside the Be Your Best Membership is a fantastic option. For less than $30 a month, you can join our mentorship calls, access other resources, and connect with a community of like-minded individuals. These calls are always incredibly insightful and transformative for the trainers who participate.

If you prefer a more structured approach, our Foundation and Fundamentals program or the Foundation to Finish program are excellent choices. These digital programs are easy to follow, and you have lifetime access to them. The only way you won’t get your money’s worth is if you don’t apply what you learn.

Our public clinics are another great way to advance your skills. With small group sizes, I can provide plenty of one-on-one time, and you also get to watch and learn from others. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see how different horses and riders handle various challenges, and it really gets you thinking about your own approach.

For those looking for something more personalized, our private clinics offer an in-depth, tailored experience. Private clinics at our training facility in Weatherford, OK can be booked directly online through our scheduling calendar. Or, if you prefer for us to come to you, you can request a private clinic at your facility as well.

Finally, our mentorship weeks are the ultimate investment in yourself. These weeks are like clinics on steroids—we’re not just working on horsemanship, but also personal development, marketing, and brand building. I’ve seen these weeks be life-changing for many people, helping them become better trainers, horsemen, and business owners. I’ve gone through this process myself, and I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to keep growing, not just in your horsemanship, but in all areas of your life.

For those of you who are unable to attend an in-person clinic or mentorship week, we have also recently opened up our virtual mentorship program, which allows you to connect with me for one-on-one support from a distance. With our virtual mentorship program, you will get credits for a series of mentorship sessions where you can ask questions, share videos, and received personalized feedback on your training journey. These virtual mentorships offer the highest level of interaction with me from a distance, with call/text access to support you along the way.

Whether you choose to invest in your training journey with us or another expert out there, the most important thing to remember is to always be looking for a way to get 1% better each day. Taking in the information is not enough—you also have to consistently apply what you learn.

If you have any questions about our current training opportunities or ways to get involved with our upcoming in-person or virtual experiences, feel free to email us at info@philhaugenhorsemanship.com, and we’ll get all your questions answered.
